Definitions

- User: Any person using the platform, including students and teachers.
- Teacher: A registered user who uploads and sells courses or conducts live classes.
- Student: A user who purchases courses or attends live classes.
- Wallet: A feature that shows real-time earnings of a teacher and allows withdrawals.
- Content: Videos, quizzes, assignments, live sessions, messages, and other materials shared.
User Responsibilities
- Account Information –
Each user must keep their account information (such as email, password, etc.) secure. Sharing login details with any third party is strictly prohibited.
- Accurate Details –
All information provided during registration must be accurate and up to date. Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension.
- Respectful Behavior –
Teachers and students must maintain respectful and professional behavior toward each other on the platform. The use of abusive, inappropriate, or offensive language is strictly prohibited.
- Teachers Community Hub Usage –
This hub is a secure and collaborative space for teachers to share their ideas, experiences, and teaching methods.
Your personal information and thoughts remain completely private.
Users must ensure that the content shared is ethical, legal, and aligned with educational purposes.
- Prohibited Activities –
Sharing copyrighted material without permission, spreading misinformation, or misusing the platform in any way is strictly forbidden.
- Payment Ethics –
All payments must be made transparently through the platform. Any kind of fraudulent transaction will be considered illegal.
- Data Security –
Gurugyaan takes all necessary technical measures to protect user information. Users are also responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and networks.
- Reporting Issues –
If a user experiences inappropriate content or behavior, they must immediately report it to the Gurugyaan support team.

All original content uploaded by teachers — including videos, documents, quizzes, or study material — remains the intellectual property of the respective teacher.
- Platform Rights –
By uploading content to Gurugyaan, teachers grant the platform a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute their content for educational purposes only.
- Copyright Infringement –
Users must not upload, share, or distribute any material that violates copyright laws or intellectual property rights of others.
If any copyrighted material is found to be used without permission, Gurugyaan reserves the right to remove such content immediately and may suspend or terminate the user’s account.
- Use of Gurugyaan Content –
All content, branding, design, and logos on the Gurugyaan platform are the property of Gurugyaan. Users are not allowed to copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission.
- Reporting Copyright Violations –
If any user believes their copyrighted material has been used without authorization, they can report it to the Gurugyaan Support Team with valid proof.
Termination & Account Suspension
1. Grounds for Suspension
Gurugyaan reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account if found involved in:
- Misuse of platform features
- Sharing false or misleading information
- Violation of Terms & Conditions
- Abusive or inappropriate behavior
- Unauthorized sharing of copyrighted material
2. Temporary Suspension
- In cases of minor violations, Gurugyaan may issue a warning or temporarily suspend access until the issue is resolved.
3. Permanent Termination
- Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent account termination without prior notice.
4. Teacher Account Termination
- If a teacher is found violating ethical standards, sharing harmful content, or misusing the Teachers Community Hub, Gurugyaan may permanently revoke teaching privileges.
5. User Data After Termination
- After termination, Gurugyaan may retain certain data as required by law or for security purposes, but personal data will be deleted as per the Privacy Policy.
6. Appeal Process
- Users whose accounts have been suspended or terminated can contact the Gurugyaan Support Team to request a review of the decision.
Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
- Platform Responsibility –
Gurugyaan provides an online platform for educational interaction between teachers and students. However, Gurugyaan is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content uploaded by users.
- Third-Party Services –
Gurugyaan may use third-party tools such as payment gateways, video conferencing APIs, or analytics services. The platform is not liable for any issues, data breaches, or losses arising from third-party services.
- Technical Failures –
Gurugyaan does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Technical issues such as network failures, maintenance downtime, or system errors may occur.
- User Conduct –
The platform shall not be held responsible for any inappropriate, offensive, or illegal behavior by users. Each user is solely responsible for their actions and communications.
- Learning Outcomes –
Gurugyaan does not guarantee academic results, grades, or specific outcomes from any course or teacher. Learning results depend on individual effort and participation.
- Limitation of Liability –
In no event shall Gurugyaan or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or services.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- Applicable Law –
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
- Jurisdiction –
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of Gurugyaan shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [bareilly/uttar pradesh, India].
- Dispute Resolution –
Before taking any legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through mutual discussion, mediation, or arbitration.
- Arbitration Clause –

Providing false or misleading information may result in temporary or permanent suspension of the account.
- Login Credentials –
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their email and password.
Sharing login credentials with any third party is strictly prohibited.

Any kind of fraudulent activity, fake account creation, or misuse of another person’s identity is strictly forbidden.

Use of Platform
- Purpose –
Gurugyaan is an educational platform designed to connect teachers and students, share knowledge, and make online learning simple and accessible.
- Permitted Use –
Users may use the platform only for educational, teaching, or learning-related activities.
Any kind of commercial advertising, spam, or non-educational content sharing is strictly prohibited.
- Content Sharing –
Teachers and students may share their notes, videos, assignments, or ideas, provided that such content does not violate any copyright or law.
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they share.
- Communication –
All discussions within the Teachers Community Hub must remain respectful, professional, and educational in nature.
Any offensive, inappropriate, or misleading communication is strictly prohibited.
- Prohibited Use –
The platform must not be used for the following purposes:
Illegal activities or violation of laws.
Sharing harmful, misleading, or objectionable content.
Interfering with the platform’s servers, data, or security systems.
Sharing another person’s private information without permission.
- Content Ownership –
The ownership of educational content uploaded on Gurugyaan remains with the respective teacher or user.
However, the platform retains limited rights to display or promote such content for educational purposes.
Content Ownership and Licensing

User-Generated Content –
All educational content uploaded on Gurugyaan — such as videos, notes, presentations, assignments, or articles — shall remain the intellectual property of the respective teacher or user.
- Limited License to Gurugyaan –
By uploading content on the platform, users grant Gurugyaan a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and limited license to:
Display the content on the platform,
Use it for course delivery or promotional purposes, and
Utilize it for platform-related operational activities.
- No Transfer of Ownership –
Gurugyaan does not claim any ownership over the user’s content.
Users retain full ownership and rights to their original materials at all times.
- Removal of Content –
Users have the right to remove their content from the platform at any time.
However, if the content has already been used as part of a course, promotion, or educational activity, it may continue to be used until that activity is completed.
- Prohibited Content –
Uploading any content that:
Violates copyright or trademark laws,
Is false, misleading, or offensive, or
Breaches any applicable law or regulation
is strictly prohibited.
Course Availability and Removal
- Course Publishing –
Teachers can publish their courses, lectures, or study materials on the Gurugyaan platform, provided that the content is educational, accurate, and lawful.
Each course may undergo Gurugyaan’s review and approval process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Course Availability –
Published courses will remain available to students for the specified duration or as determined by the teacher.
Gurugyaan reserves the right to temporarily or permanently restrict the availability of any course due to technical, policy, or legal reasons.
- Course Updates –
Teachers may modify their course content, pricing, or descriptions at any time.
However, all updates must comply with Gurugyaan’s platform policies.
- Course Removal by Teacher –
Teachers have the right to remove their courses from the platform at any time.
If a course has already been purchased by a student, it will remain accessible to that student for the duration specified at the time of purchase.
- Course Removal by Gurugyaan –
Gurugyaan reserves the right to remove any course if it:
Violates any law, policy, or copyright;
Contains inappropriate, misleading, or low-quality content; or
Is subject to complaint or investigation.
- No Liability –
Gurugyaan shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss arising from the removal, modification, or unavailability of any course
Payments and Wallet System (For Teachers)
- Earnings from Courses –
Teachers will earn revenue from the courses they publish and sell on the Gurugyaan platform.
The earnings will be calculated based on the price set by the teacher, applicable discounts, and Gurugyaan’s commission structure.
- Wallet System –
Each teacher will have a digital wallet within the Gurugyaan platform to track their course sales, earnings, and withdrawals.
All transactions — including course purchases, refunds, and bonuses — will be reflected in the wallet in real time.
- Withdrawals –
Teachers can request withdrawals once their wallet balance reaches the minimum withdrawal threshold specified by Gurugyaan.
Withdrawals will be processed through verified payment methods such as bank transfer or digital payment gateways, as per the teacher’s registered details.
Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider and verification process.
- Payment Deductions –
Gurugyaan may deduct applicable service charges, taxes, or commission fees from the teacher’s earnings as per platform policy and government regulations.
- Refunds and Adjustments –
In case a student receives a refund for a purchased course, the corresponding amount will be automatically deducted from the teacher’s wallet.
If the wallet balance is insufficient, Gurugyaan reserves the right to adjust future earnings.
- Transaction Transparency –
Teachers can view a detailed record of all transactions — including course sales, refunds, commissions, and withdrawals — directly in their wallet dashboard.
- Fraud Prevention and Compliance –
Gurugyaan reserves the right to hold or suspend payments in cases of suspected fraud, violation of policies, or incomplete verification.
All payments will comply with relevant financial and tax laws.
