Welcome to Gurugyaan.in, a digital education platform where teachers create and sell courses, conduct live classes, quizzes, and interact with students.

By using Gurugyaan.in, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Definitions

• Platform: Gurugyaan.in
• User: Any person using the platform, including students and teachers.
• Teacher: A registered user who uploads and sells courses or conducts live classes.
• Student: A user who purchases courses or attends live classes.
• Wallet: A feature that shows real-time earnings of a teacher and allows withdrawals.
• Content: Videos, quizzes, assignments, live sessions, messages, and other materials shared.

3. Account Registration

• Users must be 13 years or older to register.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure.
• You agree not to impersonate or misrepresent your identity.

4. Use of Platform

• Students may access free and paid content.
• Teachers may upload content, conduct live classes, assign quizzes, and track student progress.
• You agree not to use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

5. Content Ownership and Licensing

• Teachers retain ownership of their uploaded content.
• By uploading content, you grant Gurugyaan.in a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote it within the platform.
• Plagiarism or copyright infringement is strictly prohibited.

6. Course Availability and Removal

• Gurugyaan.in may remove courses that violate our content policies or receive repeated complaints.
• If a teacher deletes a course, students who have purchased it will retain lifetime access unless the content violates laws or policies.

7. Payments and Wallet System (For Teachers)

• Teachers earn revenue when a student purchases their course.
• Earnings are credited to the Gurugyaan wallet in real-time after each sale.
• Teachers can withdraw funds to their UPI or bank account with a minimum threshold of ₹200.
• Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours using Razorpay or other payment gateways.
• Platform may deduct service fees or taxes if applicable (clearly visible in the earnings dashboard).
• The platform reserves the right to change commission rates with prior notice.
• Teachers are responsible for any taxes applicable on their income from the platform.

8. Refund Policy (For Students)

Students may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase, only if:

• The course content is inaccessible
• The course description was misleading
• The teacher fails to deliver promised live sessions

Refunds are not applicable for completed courses, downloadable content, or quizzes.

9. Code of Conduct

For Teachers:

• Upload original, high-quality content.
• Conduct live classes respectfully and on time.
• Do not promote external platforms or take users off-site.
• Students are prohibited from recording or distributing live sessions without written permission.

10. Platform Rights and Maintenance

• We may temporarily suspend access for scheduled maintenance, updates, or security reasons.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features without prior notice.

For Students:

• Respect instructors and peers.
• Do not share or distribute course content illegally.
• Avoid spamming or abusive chat behavior.

11. Limitation of Liability

Gurugyaan.in is not liable for:

• Any loss of data or interruption of service
• User-generated content that violates third-party rights
• Technical issues beyond our control

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes from any course.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts:

• That violate these terms
• That upload harmful or plagiarized content
• For repeated refund abuse

13. Privacy Policy

By using the platform, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect and use your data.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be governed by Indian law, and jurisdiction lies with the courts of Delhi, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the changes.
